For the installation and assembly of step seal, first install the O-ring, and then install the wear ring of step seal. First heat the wear ring, put it on the shaft, and then cool it. When installing the wear ring, first press the wear ring inward along the diameter direction, then install the wear ring into the groove, and then smooth the deformation. For installation in northern winter, the wear-resistant ring shall be heated first and then sleeved on the shaft. After cooling, it shall be installed according to the above methods. When placing the shaft, be sure to observe whether the shaft is completely sleeved into the wear-resistant ring. At the same time, be careful not to jam the shaft with the guide belt, otherwise the seal may be crushed after the guide belt is extruded out of the groove.

The SPGO seal is the oil cylinder seal. Generally, install the O-ring first and then the wear ring of the SPGO seal. Small size generally adopts the method of direct installation. First heat it with oil, and the oil temperature cannot be too high. When the wear ring is soft, put it on the shaft, and then cool it. The large-size SPGO seal shall adopt conical sleeve, gradually push from the small end of the sleeve to the large end, and finally push into the groove.

In order to avoid damaging the sealing lip and causing leakage before it is officially put into use, special care must be taken during installation.

1. Sharp edges must be deburred and rounded, and chamfered according to the specific requirements of installation.

2. The thread, guide ring groove, etc. shall be covered, because the seal cannot be pushed through the groove, drilling and rough surface.

3. Dust, dirt, debris and other external foreign matters must be carefully removed.

4. The cylinder barrel, piston, piston rod and seal shall be coated with oil and grease before installation, and it shall be considered to match with the sealing medium.

5. In heated oil or hot water (about 80 ℃ - 120 ℃), the seal can be easily expanded and restored to its original state.

6. The tools used during installation must be made of soft materials (such as polyamide) and have no sharp edges and corners.
