PE001 is a carbon-filled PTFE material (Black color), it has better high and low temperature resistance,excellent creep performance, can withstand high pressure for a long time, and is more resistant to extrusion, excellent properties in chemical resistance, wear resistance and wide-range operation temperature.

It is usually used as composite seals with energizer, making it become a universal seal material.

The normal operating temperature range of PE001 is -60℃~+260℃. One of JST stem packing seal using compound PE001 has passed the PR2 test at -46℃~180℃ and 175MPa. It is common used for stem seal, spring energized valve stem packing, guide rings, bushings, high precision parts.
