JST’s FS Casing and Tubing Hanger Seal use high performance elastomer seal technology for arduous duties where there are large clearances between mating parts of wellhead and associated assemblies. The FS Seal design supports reduction in installation time, correct placement in the housing and simple installation.

FS seals have been validated in accordance with API requirements for using on surface wellhead-to-casing systems.

FS seal typically has a larger cross section than a Spring Seal to increase the sealing force on the casing while the recess in the seal back controls the radial compression on the seal by allowing it to deflect when in contact with a larger or out-of-round casing section.

High-performance FS Seals can retain sealing integrity under severe operating conditions, including:

• Wide Ranges of Temperature and Pressure
• Chemically Aggressive and Highly Abrasive Media

FS-Seals are available in the following elastomer families:

• HNBR
• FKM
• NBR

And the following spring materials:

• Stainless Steel 316
• Inconel 718
