Comparison between turning and molded hydraulic seals

Molded hydraulic seals: molded hydraulic seals are made by heating the filled rubber with abrasive tools and melting it. There are shortcomings:

1. Poor compactness. Due to the lack of rubber filler, products are prone to defects;

2. The shrinkage ratio of rubber deviates from the actual required size;

3. The appearance finish of the product is poor;

4. Special size requires abrasive tools, and the delivery time is very long.

Mouldless turning seals: the barrel material (raw material) of mouldless turning hydraulic seals is extruded by high pressure after heating and melting.

Advantage

1. Due to the high-pressure extrusion, the internal molecular structure, compactness and physical and mechanical properties are better;

2. The size of seals processed by special turning CNC equipment is more accurate, and the smoothness of seals is higher;

3. The processing time of turning hydraulic seals without dies is about 1 minute, which shortens the delivery time of products;

4. Turning seals has no mold restrictions and standard restrictions. The thickness can be changed according to the overall wear condition of the oil cylinder, and the tolerance can be reasonably configured to process more personalized and suitable sealing products; The diameter can reach 4000mm.
