Fracturing pump seals，also known as plunger pump packing or plunger packing seal, are mainly applied in fracturing trucks, mud pumps and cementing trucks for oil industry of harsh working conditions. The fracturing pump seals are combined with Top Adapter, Bottom Adapter and Pressure Rings. The number of the pressure rings is flexible, which allows the seal sealing at a wide range of pressures under almost any condition.

Fracturing pump seals are the important components of the fracturing trucks. Fracturing is performed by injecting high pressure fluid into the bottom hole to form sand-filled fractures, in order to increase the liquidity of the oil and gas, working as an effective method to enhance oil and gas recovery.

The life span of the fracturing pump seals is an important index of performance of fracturing pump. Because the working condition of fracturing pump is extremely harsh, for example, the working pressure is extremely high, the fracturing fluid contains a lot of sand, the fracturing fluid has high acidity, low viscosity and poor self-lubrication, also the plunger moves fast. Therefore, the seal is easy to wear under the mentioned condition. The fracturing pump seal produced by JST has excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance, which can effectively prolong the service cycle of the fracturing pump and reduce abnormal shutdown caused by the damage of the seals. The commonly used sizes of fracturing pump seals are from 2.5” to 6”. Material can be FKM, NBR, HNBR, filled PTFE and Fabric Reinforced Rubber.
