Well drilling is the process of extracting oil and natural gas from the ground (both onshore and offshore). As the well becomes deeper, the seals used in drilling must adapt to increasingly harsh environments. System pressures up to 2,070 bar (30,000PSI)and operating temperature extremes between -50℃(-58℉)and 220℃(428℉) are common.
