What type of seals can be used for Well Drilling?
Well drilling is the process of extracting oil and natural gas from the ground (both onshore and offshore). As the well becomes deeper, the seals used in drilling must adapt to increasingly harsh environments. System pressures up to 2,070 bar (30,000PSI)and operating temperature extremes between -50℃(-58℉)and 220℃(428℉) are common. At the same time, seals used in drilling applications must have excellent chemical compatibility and resistance to corrosive media, and meet expectations for longer service life.
