Hammer Union Seals are one-way / high-pressure / static seals, which are used in hammer union-style pipe connections to establish flow lines and prevent leakage. JST provides a number of compounds compatible with mud, crude oil and chemicals with acid or H2S in the oil & gas industry, in steel mills, chemical plants, strip mining, and marine dredging.

Seal material is chosen as per applications including working pressure, temperature, speed or chemicals.

In JST, the below materials are available:

■NBR (Nitrile): Reasonably resistant to petroleum oils, crude oil, water, gasoline, propane and some hydraulic fluids. It also provides good abrasion and compression set resistance.

■HNBR: With high tensile strength, high and low temperature ratings, and strong chemical and abrasion resistance, Excellent heat and oxidation stability.

■FKM (Viton):Wide temperature range, excellent gas and liquid permeation resistance, excellent weather ability and ozone resistance, good mechanical properties, improving sealing performance with good compression set.

■NBR+Brass/Stainless Steel: With anti-extrusion ring, it has the advantages of anti-extrusion and reinforcement basis on NBR.

■HNBR+Brass/Stainless Steel: With anti-extrusion ring, it has the advantages of anti-extrusion and reinforcement basis on HNBR.

Pressure range from 10MPa to 145MPa.

Size can choose from 2” up to 5".
