Helical Spring ball valve stem seal


Helical Spring ball valve stem seal is a high-performance Teflon seal with a special spring inside. The elastic force given by the special spring plus the pressure of the system fluid pushes the sealing lip out, and the sealing lip presses the sealed metal surface to form the required excellent sealing effect.


The use of a spring energized seal can completely improve rubber softening, expansion, wear and other issues, thus greatly improving the service life of the ball valve.


The polymer jacket's material includes PTFE, TFM, PCTFE, etc.

Spring energized seals usually occur in environments that exert excessive pressure on traditional elastic seals: extreme temperature and pressure, high levels of friction and wear, or corrosive media are the most common. Since the high-performance plastic of the spring energized seal is machined, the seal configuration can be changed according to your specific needs.
