The ball valve seat is responsible for sealing the fluid inside and uniformly distributing the seating stress. A leak of ball valve in petrochemical application could be environmentally devastating. 

JST provides reliable and robust ball valve seals. Our pressure energized seals were qualified and widely used abroad.

JST FHR is a basic spring energized seal consists of two components, a polymer-based seal jacket and the spring. Jackets are typically made from PTFE material, which have plenty of desirable properties in a sealing application. Customers can choose the PTFE fillers as per the temperature application. PTFE materials have the properties of low friction, high and low-temperature range, and broad chemical and media compatibility. 


The spring energized seal can select different spring forms and sealing lip designs according to the applications such as dynamic, static, internal and external pressure, resulting in impassable sealing force and compression deformation. The spring force will affect the performance, friction and wear performance of the jacket. The compressible stroke determines the compensation ability of the jacket for the wear of the sealing lip and the dimensional tolerance variation of the sealing groove.


The combination of different PTFE composite materials, and corrosion-resistant metal springs can fully meet the requirements of the industry. A helical spring has a very steep load curve and offers the highest force per linear inch. It is most often used in static face seal applications and in cryogenics where high loading is needed.


Customized products can be developed according to customers' needs.
