JST ID face seal is spring loaded with a pressure energized lip seal. It is used for the valve seat.
JST provides ID face seals with two different materials for FLS and FLS-R valves. A common option is virgin peek spring powered by a stainless steel spring. Another option is glass moly filled PTFE with stainless steel springs, which are very durable and can withstand the worst conditions. When conditions are not extreme, a more cost-effective material option is glass moly filled PTFE. This ID face seal is a good choice and has very good durability.
