The guide strip is mainly used in the hydraulic cylinder and pneumatic cylinder. Because of its high-quality performance, it is also widely used in other moving system at this stage.

Primary requirements:

Support and positioning: the piston and piston rod are axially supported in the cylinder barrel, and the movable positioning between equipment is realized.

To isolate the piston and play a certain isolation role between the piston and the cylinder barrel, the piston rod and the guide sleeve are two pairs of moving pairs to avoid scraping, damage and wear between the moving pairs at the same time. Especially when the moving pair is made of steel, it must be isolated, otherwise it is easy to wear.

Another key function of the antifriction guide strip is to reduce friction and frictional work between moving parts, and reduce ineffective work and heat.

Vibration absorption and noise reduction reduce vibration and noise during system operation.

Material:

Mainly filled with bronze/glass filled PTFE and phenolic fabric.

Filled tetrafluoroethylene has excellent wear resistance and self-lubrication, good thermal conductivity and compressive strength, corrosion resistance and oil resistance. It can be used under less oil and no oil working conditions and water lubrication. It has small friction coefficient and strong dirt receiving capacity. When used as a guide ring in the cylinder, it can prevent the direct contact between the piston rod and the metal parts between the hole / sleeve, and protect other sealing rings.

Phenolic fabric guide strip is a wear-resistant strip / ring installed on the piston or shaft to guide and better withstand radial force. It protects the sealing ring from the influence of diesel effect and has no creeping phenomenon during dry operation. It is a phenolic plus polymer reinforced by polyester fiber, that is, a thermosetting synthetic fabric reinforced by fiber composite fabric. It is composed of fine mesh plastic, special thermosetting fabric and lubricating additives. It can absorb shock energy very well, and has extremely high wear resistance and dry running characteristics. The surface of the strip has pinholes for oil lubrication. The grinding surface is to ensure thickness tolerance, facilitate installation and operation reliability.

Application:

When supplied, it is in the form of roll or cut ring. The ring can be installed and used immediately, and the roll shape needs to be cut when it is used. The cut size needs to be measured before use: there can only be one cut, the cut type is inclined 45 °, the open distance is about 3-15mm, or 3-5% of the diameter of the guide ring.

Under normal circumstances, the h opening is all oblique. Straight cut or Z-shaped step cut is very rare, all of which have special uses and purposes. Rolled ones are relatively cheap, and the same roll can be used to make guide rings of different sizes.
